Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a comprehensive therapeutic approach that research has found to be helpful with a variety of different disorders. Some of these disorders include borderline personality disorder, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and substance abuse. DBT's therapuetic approach includes four modules that are taught during the six month program. The four modules are: Core Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. Located in Center Point, Texas, Starlite Recovery Center offers residential treatment for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health concerns. Active-duty military members and veterans can benefit from our Operation Liberty program for specialized substance use disorder care. Similarly, first responders can benefit from the Harbor of Hope Program. We also provide services for those who have co-occurring mental health concerns. This treatment level provides people with 24-hour support along with basic medical care and medication management.
