Adult Residential Treatment
Twelve Oaks Recovery Center offers residential treatment for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with substance use disorders and mental health concerns. Our live-in treatment center in Navarre, Florida, is a safe and welcoming environment for clients to manage their symptoms and focus on their health while working toward long-term recovery. A typical stay in residential treatment with us lasts 12-13 days. During that time, clients may participate in individual, experiential, and family therapy sessions, along with group therapy sessions multiple times per day. All clients receive basic medical care and medication management services, and those who have substance use disorders may participate in on-site detoxification. We also offer focused programming for active-duty members of the U.S. military, veterans, and other first responders. Our staff of highly experienced professionals works closely with each client to develop a personalized treatment plan. At the conclusion of treatment, each client receives a detailed discharge plan that offers ongoing resources to help them sustain their progress. We accept commercial insurances like Aetna, Cigna, TRICARE, and more. Treatment Approach
Our approach to treatment is rooted in the belief that substance use disorders and mental health concerns are treatable conditions that have complex physical, behavioral, psychological, social, and spiritual components. We feel that sustained recovery results from making numerous changes, and that our dedicated and experienced treatment professionals are uniquely prepared to guide clients through these transformations. Using evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), the 12-Step recovery method, motivational interviewing, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), our staff helps each client work through their struggles to make the lifestyle changes necessary to live a more fulfilling life. Clients participate in five groups per day during their time in treatment — two process groups and three educational groups during the week, and five educational groups on weekends. We believe that these sessions help clients build camaraderie and realize that they’re not alone on their journey toward better days. Our Treatment Center
Located on acres of beautiful beachfront in Navarre, Florida, Twelve Oaks Recovery Center offers an optimal environment for healing. Clients can look out on the scenic Santa Rosa Sound and hear the soothing tones of waves settling into the sea. Those in our residential program can look forward to nutritious meals, spacious living quarters and meeting rooms, and a relaxed atmosphere to focus on the journey toward optimal wellness. During free time, clients may enjoy going for walks on the beach, exercising in our fitness room, playing board games, or participating in beach volleyball. On the weekends, we may offer recovery-related movies and recreational activities. Clients also have the option of attending a local church on Sundays.
