We offer individual social coaching groups have helped students mature 1-2 years socially and emotionally, and increase confidence, compliance, and improved leadership skills. Jim has also been invited to provide consultation to several accreditation boards, private and public schools in the state of Florida for ADHD and bullying.
Holistic Alternatives before trying Medications
At TLC we look at more than just the "mind," we look at the Total person. 85% of our clients are stabilized with therapies and FDA approved supplements instead of medication under the guidance of their physician. However, when needed we do refer to the best psychiatrists in the community. We have worked with clients and their prescribers to help them reduce their medication in many cases to zero.
Holistic, Relational & Recreation Play Therapy
We incorporate traditional therapies as well as warm relational approaches such as recreational therapy, play therapy, challenge courses, and Leadership social skills groups and Camps. We offer court approved parenting, co-parenting and anger management classes. We have a family mediator, collaborative neutral and a registered play therapist supervisors on staff as well as marriage and relationship experts in our Orlando, Clermont, Winter Park, Lake Mary and East Orlando offices!

8 Hour Anger Management Classes

Monthly Saturday class from 9a-5:30pm with an hour for lunch (on your own). To register please call (407) 248-0030. We need payment and enrollment done by the Wednesday before the class in order to have certificates ready! This class is fun, interactive, includes hilarious movie clips, and the facilitators are Master's level professionals who are approachable. The purpose of the group is to help teens learn improved methods of handling their anger and anger-provoking situations. Anger is an emotional state with varying degrees of intensity and consequences. By handling situations more effectively, group members will experience many positive benefits in their lives. The group is held for 3 consecutive weeks on a Friday (6 hours total). Upon successful completion of the anger management classes a certificate will be awarded.
