Who We Are
Torn Counseling & Recovery Center is a primary mental health facility located in Acworth, GA. We offer both a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for the treatment of mental health disorders. Torn consists of fully licensed clinical and medical staff that have a depth of knowledge and experience addressing mood disorders, thought disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, personality disorders, co-occurring substance use disorders, and other various forms of mental illness. Our solution-based therapy is designed to help those who are having difficulty overcoming the adversity that keeps them from living with the freedom and purpose that they were meant to. Through one-on-one counseling sessions, group therapy, family programming/therapy, physical fitness/recreational therapy, nutrition and dietary planning, and spiritual self-discovery, Torn can help you or someone you love deal with all inhibiting afflictions to uncover the true potential of living a life that is truly worth celebrating.
Mental Health Treatment
Torn offers a comprehensive approach to mental health treatment for adults with the understanding that each individual requires their own unique approach to appropriately address their mental health challenges. We utilize time-tested modalities in our treatment approach, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Forward-Facing Trauma Therapy. Our treatment programs are structured using a gradual step-down process which allows clients to address issues that may arise in daily life in real time and with the assistance of licensed mental health professionals.

We offer day treatment for mental health through group therapy and integrative approaches to mental health recovery. We use DBT, ACT, CBT, and Intuitive reprocessing to help though do something different to be something different.

IOP
Intensive outpatient program for primary mental health, substance abuse, trauma, anger. We offer: 5 Day 9-12 or 1-4, and Evening 5:30-8:30pm three days a week
