Focus provides compassionate, comprehensive care with experienced, master's level clinicians. Our intensive outpatient (IOP) program is designed for individuals (ages 13 and up) who are struggling with eating disorders (such as binge eating, bulimia, anorexia, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder). Additionally, we offer outpatient psychotherapy and counseling services for mental health support, specializing in the areas of life transitions, stress, grief, mood disorders (anxiety, depression), trauma, eating disorders, food/body image (emotional eating, stress eating, compulsive overeating, exercise addiction), as well as nutritional guidance (meal planning, food allergies, special dietary restrictions) with our registered dietitian. Everyone is different. Issues around mind, mood, food, and body are often complex and multi-faceted, requiring an interdisciplinary care team. In addition to our own clinicians, we can collaborate with your trusted providers such as therapists, nutritionists, psychiatrists, and/or medical doctors so that your care is tailored to your specific needs. Groups
Intensive Outpatient Program for Eating Disorders
Focus provides Intensive Outpatient (IOP) treatment for eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder, and other food and body disturbances. Separate IOP groups are offered for adolescents and adults. Groups meet 3 afternoons/evenings per week and are run by experienced and compassionate therapists. Weekly 1:1 sessions with a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist are also included. Covered by most major insurance companies, including TennCare and Cover Kids. We provide a confidential, in-depth assessment prior to admission to determine level of care.
