Eating Disorders, Mood Disorders, & Relationships
Focus provides intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment for clinical eating disorders in adolescents and adults, as well as outpatient therapy for a variety of reasons. Our doctoral and master's level clinicians provide psychotherapy for issues such as: stress management, mood disorders (anxiety, depression, bipolar), trauma resolution (EMDR therapy), eating disorders (binge eating, bulimia, anorexia, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder), food/body image struggles (emotional eating, stress eating, compulsive overeating, exercise addiction), and nutritional guidance (meal planning, food allergies, special dietary restrictions).
A Collaborative Team
Inter-related issues around mind, mood, food, and body are often complex and multi-faceted, requiring an interdisciplinary team of providers. We prioritize collaboration with other therapists, nutritionists, psychiatrists, medical doctors, family therapists, and other providers that are central to the care and treatment of every individual.

Focus Integrative Centers's Groups
Eating Disorder Treatment
Focus provides Intensive Outpatient (IOP) treatment for eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder, and other food and body disturbances. Separate IOP groups are offered for adolescents and adults. Groups meet 3 afternoons/evenings per week and are run by experienced and compassionate therapists. Weekly 1:1 sessions with a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist are also included. Covered by most major insurance companies, including TennCare and Cover Kids. We provide a complimentary assessment prior to admission to determine level of care.
