Residential Mental Health Treatment
At Timberline Knolls, located in Lemont, Illinois, we deliver clinically excellent residential programming for women and girls age 12 and older who are suffering from anxiety. Residents who are battling severe symptoms can benefit from receiving live-in care in an inclusive, supervised environment. Adults stay in our residential program for an average of 21 days, while adolescents typically remain in the program for 40 days. During this time, residents can engage in trauma-focused care that primarily involves DBT, experiential therapies, family counseling, yoga, dance/movement therapy, and motivational interviewing. Our residential program also incorporates daily experiential, psychoeducational, and process groups. Group therapy sessions are led by our empathetic licensed therapists and cover a variety of topics, such as coping skills, DBT skills, and medication management, that can help residents learn to deal with distressful emotions in a productive way. Adult Outpatient Mental Health Treatment
Timberline Knolls provides premier outpatient programming for women age 18 and older whose struggles with anxiety are interfering with their ability to function on a day-to-day basis. We offer a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for women who do not require round-the-clock care to achieve their treatment goals. Clients may enter either program directly or as a step-down level of care from our residential program. The length of time each client participates in outpatient services depends on their individual goals and progress. The IOP features flexible day and evening programming options to meet the needs of women who are balancing treatment with work and other daily responsibilities. Each client follows a personalized treatment plan that may incorporate medical care and medication management services as well as individual, family, group, and experiential therapies to help them learn to effectively manage symptoms of anxiety.
