Gender-affirming voice therapy is now being offered at our clinic. Voice is a crucial part of our identity, emotional expression. Voice is how we make connections with others, and communicate our wants, needs, ideas, emotions, values, and beliefs. Voice therapy assists the participant with discovering and exploring a voice that they wish to achieve and identify with. I look forward to offering this service to our community, and support individuals in affirming their voices.Occupational therapy (OT) is a type of therapy that uses the things we do in everyday life (which we call occupations) therapeutically to enhance or enable participation. Occupational therapy services are provided for habilitation (learning a skill), rehabilitation (re-learning a skill), and promotion of health and wellness for clients with disability- and non–disability-related needs. Occupational therapy is provided by occupational therapists (OTR) and occupational therapy assistants (COTA). Trauma Informed Yoga Therapy is part of our program. We offer groups and Individual sessions. with a therapist who is a certified trauma informed yoga instructor. Supported Independent Living for the TBI Community.

Groups
Bingo, Cooking, Party Planning, Newsletter, Yoga
Bingo is social for participants to practice together and explore participate in leisure activities. Cooking .A task-oriented group focusing on building functional, nutrition skills, nutrition management, meal planning, meal preparation, and clean-up, as well as practicing social skills involved with working as a team on a project. Party Planning is a social project group addressing cognitive skills such as planning and organizing, occupations such as leisure exploration and participation, and social skills. Newsletter will be a parallel group that culminates as one completed project participants will problem-solve learn computer skills for the newsletter, work as a team .
