Our comprehensive approach lengthens the runway of support that our clients receive. We help you resolve the effects of any physical or emotional trauma you may have experienced in your life through our qualified EMDR therapists. One EMDR session is equal to sixty normal therapy sessions and often gets to the root cause of addiction. We help you develop healthy coping and relationship skills and how to hold boundaries to keep you safe, healthy and happy. If accommodation is required post-treatment, our male or female-only recovery homes provide the ideal transition. Staying in one of our recovery homes while attending our PHP or IOP outpatient treatment is the ideal way to transition back to independent living. Outpatient gives you the opportunity to "put your mental armour back on everyday" and provide you with all the support you need in your recovery. The clinical program at Liberty Addiction Recovery Center is designed to create lasting recovery and lives that thrive. The program consists is rooted in the three basic principals of responsibility, structure, and accountability. The clients promote self-change by becoming positive role models for one another under the guidance of staff. The program focuses on six main topics including the disease of addiction, distress tolerance and emotional regulation, relationships, meaning and purpose, spirituality, and the inner child. In order to emphasize these important topics and create lasting recovery, clients will participate in a variety of groups including therapeutic, life skills, psychoeducational, music, art, vocational, recreational, and 12-step groups. Clients will also be exposed to a variety of recovery- and spiritual- oriented systems in the community in order to integrate them back into healthy social support groups as they prepare to transition back into society. Set on one acre of landscaped gardens, Liberty offers you over 8,000 square feet of the comfort and space you need to relax, feel safe, and begin your recovery. Enjoy great food, 2,000 square foot gym, water features, Koi fish pond, and open space all within an enclosed, safe setting. Our staff bring a combination of personal experience in recovery to enable you to relate and feel understood, as well as the clinical and counselling expertise you need to understand yourself and rebuild a new you.
