Radically Open DBT Skills Class - Redwood City
Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT) is the latest behavioral treatment for people suffering with disorders of emotional over control. Generally thought of as an entirely useful quality, there is a growing body of research acknowledging the problems associated with too much self-control. In excess, perfectionism, prioritizing achievement above all else, delaying gratification indefinitely, and other “type A” tendencies can lead to significant issues including chronic depression, anxiety, anorexia, OCPD, and loneliness. This program is also designed for individuals with ASD.
