Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Adjusting back to your everyday life after addiction treatment can be challenging and uncomfortable. But a transition period in between can make your return easier to handle. At The Raleigh House, we offer an intensive outpatient program (IOP) designed to help you continue treatment as you slowly return back to normal life. We offer different levels of outpatient treatment depending on the type of care you require. Our outpatient program is part of our continuum of care after residential treatment, or you can enter into outpatient treatment directly if deemed appropriate. Learn more about our outpatient treatment program below or call us now to help you or your loved one get the treatment they need. At The Raleigh House, our goal is to match you with the right form of addiction treatment. Whether you’re coming from residential treatment or entering directly into outpatient, our team can help you determine the right level of care for your specific situation and needs. What to Expect in Outpatient Treatment
If part of the 5-day outpatient treatment program, each day will begin at 9am with a meditation and mindfulness group session to help you prepare your mind and body for rehab. You’ll then spend two hours from 10am-12pm in process groups. This is where you’ll meet with different therapists to cover topics like substance abuse, trauma and family therapy. After an hour break for lunch, you’ll spend 1pm – 2:30pm participating in art therapy, nutrition education and other group therapy sessions. During the rest of your afternoon, you’ll have the chance to unwind and exercise at the gym and attend Alcoholics Anonymous or other support groups in the area. On weekends, you’ll come out to The Ranch to spend time with others who are recovering from addiction. With a barbecue, bonfires, volleyball games and socializing, this is a fun and relaxed environment for you to make connections and have a good time without drugs or alcohol. Throughout your time in outpatient treatment, you’ll receive more and more independence to help you ease back into everyday life. You’ll get to go to the movies with housemates, return home to see family, purchase your own food, and much more. A Large Support System
Our multidisciplinary team understands that it’s critical to have a strong support system while going through the healing process. At The Raleigh House, you’ll receive peer and alumni support, and can attend on-site AA (Alcoholics Anonymous), CA (Cocaine Anonymous) and NA (Narcotics Anonymous) meetings. Additionally, we provide family education and support so your loved ones can also learn about addiction and heal alongside you. To provide you with the best care possible, our team also provides an array of medical services, including drug and alcohol monitoring, PRN neurotransmitter and genetic testing, medication management and medical/psychiatric screening and assessments. Our intensive outpatient program is available to individuals seeking mental health treatment with or without an addiction. We have been designated a mental health specialty clinic by the Colorado Office of Behavioral Health, indicating that we meet all state standards for the delivery of quality mental health care to adults ages 18 and over. From anxiety and panic to depression and PTSD, we treat a variety of mental health conditions that frequently co-occur with substance addictions.
