Addiction Intensive Outpatient Program/Charleston
Our program offers Holistic Group DBT Therapy to Adults in the morning who are needing support to remain sober on their journey to recovery. We offer a "Clean" IOP group. We have medical providers to offer psychotropic medications, urine screens, behavioral support etc. DBT helps significantly with trauma, often the underlying issue with addiction. We teach how to bring balance to your thinking, so you learn to reduce "black and white "thinking. Many people who come to us "Know the 12step program". We are adding to your learning with DBT. Need a new approach to take control of your mind instead of your mind controlling you?
Dialectical Behavior Therapy
Dialectical Behavior Therapy "DBT" teaches how to regulate emotions. This is an evidence-based practice for people struggling with addiction. We also offer additional holistic practices to teach how to connect with your body in a new way. These holistic experiences optionally are, yoga, meditation, mindfulness activities at the SC Aquarium, sound therapy, equine therapy, wood burning and group on the water in a boat "Blue Health Therapy". Not all activities are guaranteed due to seasonal and scheduling. These activities are included in the IOP cost. We also offer an aftercare program once you have completed the program for $25 per 1 hour group session. Information is available upon discharge from our IOP program.

This is a "Clean" group, all members can only be taking psychotropic medications. Evening group is Monday, Wednesday from 5-8pm and Saturday is from 9:00am-12:00pm Group is 3 hours a day, 3 days a week for 7.5-8 weeks. The Young Adult group is Tuesday, Thurs and Sunday night from 5-8PM

Keep the DBT skills in the front of your mind! Once you complete the IOP, then you may attend the aftercare program for 1 hour a week. Cost is $25 cash per session. This group is for 1 year and will review the entire DBT manual. You will learn NEW skills that could not be covered in the IOP due to time constraints of 24 sessions. Please discuss with Bob or therapist upon completion of program. If you are not an IOP client than, an interview is required by therapist to ensure you understand the DBT skills.
