Discovery offers a full continuum of care specializing in the unique and specific needs associated with eating disorder, mental health, and substance abuse treatment. Petoskey Center's intensive outpatient program (IOP) gives clients a safe place to: Explore the reasons behind their psychological struggles; learn and practice new skills for coping, managing, and preventing emotional crises; identify a path forward in terms of education, career, family, lifestyle; and ​practice implementing real change both in and outside the therapy environment. The Psychological Services Clinic at University of Houston-Clear Lake is a training clinic for graduate programs in clinical psychology, family therapy, and school psychology. Heights Treatment offers several levels of care to fit the needs of each individual in their recovery journey. Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is the most intensive level of treatment with programming 5 days per week, approximately 6 hours per day. This outpatient option allows clients to benefit from a high level of clinical care and support with the luxury of living in their own home or sober living environment. Clients who seek a slightly less intensive level of care may choose our Intensive Oupatient Program (IOP), which is offered 3-5 days per week, for 3 hours per day. Just as in PHP, clients receive group therapy each day they attend treatment, with topics that range from DBT skills, healthy relationships, recovery skills, emotional, spiritual, and relational sobriety, and grief and loss. The least intense level of care offered at Heights Treatment is our Outpatient Program (OP). This program is designed for the client who is in need of additional support while they return to full-time work and/or daily living. Our Outpatient Program is then a great option for continuing care after the completion of IOP or PHP.

Clients include a spectrum of mental health concerns – depression, anxiety, substance use, sexual health in recovery, psychiatric medication management, trauma, interpersonal violence, adjustment to medical problems, and others.
