Eating Disorders Treatment
The Hull Institute has specialized in the treatment of eating disorders for over 20 years. We are a private outpatient practice working with individuals of all ages (8-80) and backgrounds with disordered eating or an eating disorder. We have 12 therapists and 5 dietitians, all specially trained in helping people recover from an eating disorder. People who come to us often also have anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, trauma and/or addictions. We will treat all of them together. How We Help
Eating disorders require eating disorders therapists and dietitians. All our providers have had extensive specialized training in evidence-based treatment of all types of eating disorders and disordered eating. We offer DBT, CBT, ACT, exposure response prevention, EMDR, schema therapy, and a host of other treatment modalities. We apply these types of treatment based on what each individual client needs. We match each new caller with the best clinician to address their needs. We have 4 locations: Beachwood, Rocky River, Strongsville and Fairlawn. We offer virtual appointments, days, evenings and weekends. We still recommend in-person sessions with our therapists, and recognize they are impossible at times, especially because we help people all around the state. We accept almost all major insurances, including Medicaid and Medicaid HMO’s, Medicare, and most Marketplace plans. Being accessible to everyone is an important part of who we are and what we do. Eating disorders treatment can be lengthy and expensive, and we want to help all people be able to access and afford the care they need and deserve. Our dietitians accept only a few insurances & see clients in PA, GA, NY, CA, IL, IN. Recovery IS Possible!
Sometimes people search for a therapist because they are ready to change. They are sick and tired of being sick and tired. They cannot live with the eating disorder voice 1 more minute. Sometimes we see kids whose parents are worried and afraid. We work with both the child/teenager and parents to develop a sound plan for recovery for the whole family!
