About
Caring, Confidential, Compassionate
The Counseling Training Clinic in the College of Education at Eastern Michigan University offers personal and family mental health counseling as well as career assessment and academic counseling that taps into your potential and builds upon your strengths and the strengths of your support systems. Services are provided to individuals, couples, families and children.
Our Providers
Counseling services are provided by advanced graduate students under the direct supervision of faculty who are licensed professional counselors and supervisors. The clinic runs in conjunction with didactic and experiential coursework in the Department of Leadership & Counseling that prepares clinicians to provide the best professional services to both EMU and the greater Washtenaw County community.
Working with You
Our counselors work with children, adolescents, and adults from Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor, and surrounding communities as well as EMU students, faculty, and staff. We offer a sliding fee scale and never turn anyone away for an inability to pay.
