The Carter Treatment Center provides substance-use disorder treatment utilizing strengths-based therapy approaches to support clients in freeing themselves from alcohol and drug abuse. We believe recovery is possible and are honored to work with clients and families on their journey to freedom. Our clinical team operates from a place of compassion and expertise in understanding the multiple twists and turns on the road to recovery. Our team works together with each client to build a trusting and safe relationship to facilitate client exploration of emotions, behaviors, and patterns that reinforce substance use. Our team utilizes a variety of techniques and therapeutic approaches including yoga, meditation, aromatherapy, T’ai Chi, and sound therapy to assist clients as they learn coping skills and new ways of achieving peace of mind. Outpatient Convenience & Individualized Treatment
The skilled team at The Carter Treatment Center use a holistic approach to therapy designed to treat not just the symptoms of addiction, but also the mind and spirit, to achieve a successful recovery from drug or alcohol dependency. The Carter Treatment Center is an outpatient treatment facility, providing a supportive bridge for clients discharging from residential or detox and going back to their own homes or supportive living. We are also a great option for clients who need a high level of structure and support but aren't able to go away to treatment. Our outpatient facility offers multiple group and individual therapy sessions and activities that focus on helping you overcome addiction at convenient times throughout each week. The key to a successful recovery from drug or alcohol addiction is to tailor the right therapies and treatments to suit each person's individual needs. Program Details
Our program offers outpatient substance-use disorder treatment that is specifically created to provide structure and support to our clients based on their individual needs. Our continuum of care spans from early recovery to ongoing support. Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP): We offer six hours of therapeutic programming five days a week for clients who need a high level of support to remain successful in their recovery process. Clients at this level are introduced to the fundamentals of recovery and learn skills for navigating the world substance-free. Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): Clients appropriate for this level of care receive programming three hours daily either five or three days a week as they progress through the program. We offer both day and evening hours for three-day IOP. Clients learn tools of recovery such as emotional identification, coping skills, self-efficacy and recovery identity development. We also provide a bi-monthly family therapy group, workshops, and family sessions. Clients are eligible for six weeks of aftercare sessions upon graduation. Treatment Groups for Substance Use Disorder
The Carter Treatment Center offers a variety of programs to alleviate stress for those struggling with addiction. We are often a transition from an inpatient treatment facility to outpatient, while offering support and guidance one needs during their recovery. Our PHP offers 6 hours of programming Monday-Friday. Our IOP group meets 5 days per week for 3 hours with a step-down to 3 hours, 3 days per week from 12:30-3:30pm. We provide traditional and innovative treatment strategies. Holistic therapy we offer are Sound Therapy, Art Therapy, Tai' Chi, Yoga, Aromatherapy, and Meditation.
