The Bergand Group is a treatment center treating addictions, mental health, and related disorders. We offer varying levels of outpatient treatment including Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient, Addiction Psychiatry, Outpatient Detox, Psychotherapy, DUI Education, Individual Therapy, Family, Therapy, and Anger Management. Our Addiction Medicine Board-certified doctors conduct all initial assessments and evaluations and follow our clients through their entire treatment - a truly unique feature for substance abuse providers in the area. You will be seen by a doctor specially trained in Addictions and Psychiatry, not just a therapist or counselor. This provides our clients with confidence that they are receiving the highest possible level of care. Our doctors have over 25 years experience each in treating substance abuse and related mental health issues. What does our experience mean for you? Treatment Covered by Insurance
The Bergand Group has a proven track record in working with a wide variety of insurance carriers. We will do whatever we can to make this as easy as possible for you. This means that we will verify your insurance benefits and work with your insurance company to get all levels of treatment and individual services covered. As the treatment of mental health and addiction disorders requires addressing each patient's individual needs, the ability to individualize that treatment is essential. The Bergand Group offers varying levels of intensity in outpatient services, both individual and group. Efforts are made to match clients with appropriate therapists. Pharmacologic therapy, drug monitoring and prescribing, use of antagonist and blocking agents, buprenorphine- both detox and maintenance, are offered.
Medical Detox and Medication Management
The Bergand Group has a drug free/abstinence philosophy as its foundational approach to addiction treatment. However, The Bergand Group also recognizes evidence-based and appropriate use of a variety of medications and dietary supplements to assist or treat addiction and co-occurring disorders. Our physicians are experienced and trained in the use of a spectrum of medication usage including Suboxone, an opioid pharmacological intervention that is used for detoxification and short to long term maintenance purposes.
