Welcome to The Aviary
At The Aviary Recovery Center, we focus on caring for the whole person. We create a personalized recovery plan to help you build resiliency and sustain long-term recovery from alcohol or drug addiction. We believe it is important to create a therapeutic alliance between the client and therapist for a positive outcome. Your personalized recovery plan is created by you and your primary therapist based on what you believe is at the center of your addiction. It will include the elements and relationships of your life that you feel are important to address. Our small group sizes allow for a greater opportunity for working through specific challenges of the individual while drawing from the experiences of the whole supportive group.
Family Wellness Program
The Family Wellness Program allows for family members to become engaged in the process of helping and supporting their loved one. At The Aviary, we take the opportunity to create an experience that is safe, supportive, educational and positive for the family and loved ones of the alcoholic or addict. We take the time to provide education about communication, accountability and support groups. We have developed a program specifically for the concerned significant other. Designed with an 8-week rotating curriculum, this program can be joined any week treatment begins.
Collegiate/Young Adult Residential Treatment
Young adult residential treatment at The Aviary Recovery Center offers men and women between the ages of 18 and 25 a chance to overcome their substance abuse struggles as well as any co-occurring conditions, such as anxiety, depression or eating disorders. Young adults need assistance creating a positive sense of identity. Exploring one's values, morals, and goals while developing a better understanding of strengths and interests is a crucial part of any young adult's development, but especially important as a tool for helping those in recovery maintain long-term sobriety. Residential treatment includes both individual and group therapy to help participants learn from others who are experiencing similar struggles.
