Medication-Assisted Treatment for 35+ Years
The Addiction Treatment Center of New England (ATCNE) is an outpatient opioid treatment program designed to provide a safe and therapeutic environment for clients in the greater Boston area. We provide clinically-driven Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for those struggling with Opioid Use Disorder and have done so successfully for the last 38 years. We offer maintenance & outpatient detox, coupled with group and individual counseling. Our programs help clients gain control over their substance use disorders and learn alternatives to their behaviors. ATCNE has a strong focus on providing "total treatment." Medication is one part of treatment, but education and support are seen as equally important. We recognize the need to treat substance use holistically- addressing your medical, physical, emotional and social realms. To help treat co-occurring issues, ATCNE has close relationships with other local organizations and programs and can facilitate referrals to additional mental health and/or medical services. We have a positive and hopeful approach to recovery. ATCNE understands that everyone is capable of recovering and despite your struggles, there is hope that you can get better.
Individual, Group & Family Counseling
ATCNE individualizes treatment for every person served. In addition to MAT, ATCNE offers individual counseling in addition to group and family counseling services. Groups are tailored to various needs of clients served. Group themes include relapse prevention, stress management, parenting, health and nutrition, dual diagnosis, women's and men's issues, and trauma-informed groups.
Flexible Hours & Accommodations
ATCNE has early morning and extended hours to accommodate schedules of those who work and/or have families. We offer early morning, evening, and weekend groups and individual counseling services. Additionally, ATCNE also offers a parenting group in which infants are allowed to attend in order to help those in treatment who are in need of parenting support but may not be able to find childcare. ATCNE additionally provides same-day admission. Through our personalized approach, each client is offered the clinical treatment that best suits his or her needs.
