While English Mountain’s residential rehab programs are available in 30 to 60-day periods, many residents end up prolonging their stay up to 90 days or more to deepen their recovery focus and strengthen their sobriety foundation. Our Daytime Intensive Group, (commonly referred to as a Partial Hospitalization Program) is more intensive than traditional outpatient treatment. Teens who require our program are experiencing mental health issues which are preventing them from successfully attending school. These can be anything related to anxiety, depression, or trauma. While many of these symptoms may be challenging, they do not usually require around-the-clock care. Students attend our Daytime Intensive Group for 4 weeks, Monday through Friday, from 9:00AM until 3:30PM. During the treatment day, they receive 4 hours of group therapy and 2 hours of education support, to ensure they don't fall behind in school.

Cumberland Heights is for those who need more. We start with the 12 Steps, yet we go further. A patient's treatment plan includes an assigned counselor and a small, gender-specific group with whom trust becomes natural. We are a nonprofit alcohol and drug treatment center located on the banks of the Cumberland River. The natural beauty of our 177 acre campus, our state of the art facilities and decades of experience provide lasting healing to those suffering from addiction.

ARCH Academy serves adolescent males ages 14-18 that have a primary substance abuse problem. It’s very common for addicted teens to have other mental health issues such as anxiety, depression and trauma so our staff is fully equipped to treat most co-occurring illnesses. Our counselors create an individualized treatment plan for each teen, focused on cultivating a healthy sense of confidence as well as providing the teen with more coping and life skills to help sustain lasting recovery. Through adventure-based programming like hiking, canoeing and biking, teens will have a unique opportunity for self-discovery. Comprehensive Treatment Centers (CTCs) provide opioid use disorder treatment for adults age 18 and older of all genders. CTCs offer detoxification from substances such as heroin, prescription painkillers, and other opioids, as well as alcohol. Treatment at a CTC is in the form of outpatient therapy, allowing patients to receive substance use disorder care that is convenient to them without much disruption to their lives. Unlike traditional outpatient treatment centers, CTCs use medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to help ease the discomfort of withdrawal symptoms that come from detoxification. MAT can involve medication such as methadone or buprenorphine under the guidance of a healthcare professional. Along with detoxification, CTCs offer individual and group therapy sessions. Combining the appropriate medication and counseling for each individual allows for comprehensive care that can lead to long-term recovery. Each patient has their own treatment team to ensure that they receive personalized care that is unique to them.

Chattanooga Recovery Center not only offers addiction treatment, but we also offers treatment for primary mental health. Our team has the experience and knowledge to understand that oftentimes, drug and alcohol addiction are intertwined with mental illness. In fact, 1 in 4 adults with a mental illness also have a substance abuse disorder, and some studies show that as many as half of all individuals with drug or alcohol addictions also have a mental disorder of some kind. There are many reasons for this, and because the two are so closely tied together, it’s challenging to treat one issue without treating the other. That is why our facility offers comprehensive mental health treatment in addition to our alcohol and drug addiction programs.

Each school-age patient who participates in our adolescent residential programs can continue to get a traditional education through our school, The Village Academy, located on the Village Behavioral Health campus. The Village Academy is a private school that has been approved by the Tennessee State Department of Education and accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Our school staff includes qualified administrators and full-time credentialed teachers who are state-licensed in English, mathematics, social studies, and natural sciences. The Village Academy provides remedial and special education services for students who have emotional concerns and learning differences. Our teachers work closely with each student’s previous school, and each student completes an evaluation that can give us insight into their educational needs. This information can help us design an individual academic plan for each patient. Because The Village Academy is fully accredited, students can complete all high school graduation requirements at our school if needed.

Focus provides compassionate and comprehensive treatment for adults struggling with eating disorders and/or substance use. Our whole-person treatment approach reflects each patient's value and self-worth so that the care is unique and individualized. Our Chattanooga location offers inpatient detoxification, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient levels of care. Our Knoxville center offers an eating disorder intensive outpatient program, as well as outpatient therapy and nutrition services. The intensive outpatient program (IOP) at TrustPoint Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, serves adults age 18 and older who have anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, or other mental health concerns. Group therapy is the main method of treatment in our IOP. A typical treatment day includes multiple groups, all of which are led by licensed therapists. Groups focus on a variety of topics, such as anger management, communication skills, stress management, healthy boundaries, grief and loss, and disease/disorder education. We also offer experiential therapy groups, which may include yoga, meditation, music therapy, aromatherapy, and role-playing. Patients who have been experiencing symptoms that can be treated with prescription medication may also receive medication management services while they are in our IOP. The standard schedule for this level of care includes three hours of treatment three days per week, for a total of nine weekly hours of care. Typical length of stay in the IOP at TrustPoint Hospital is eight to 12 weeks.

Volunteer Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) in Chattanooga, Tennessee, provides high-quality outpatient care for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with addictions to heroin, prescription painkillers, and other opioids. Our CTC offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT), an evidence-based approach for helping people achieve and maintain recovery from opioid addictions. MAT uses prescription medication to help people withdraw from opioids and avoid relapse. At the same time, it also incorporates counseling, which can help participants make important lifestyle changes that promote lasting recovery. At our CTC, each patient can receive methadone, buprenorphine, or Suboxone as part of their individualized treatment plan. These medications can ease the discomfort of opioid withdrawal and help people end opioid use without the burden of overwhelming cravings and withdrawal symptoms. When patients experience better clarity of mind, they may also find it easier to engage in therapy. In MAT-provided counseling, you can safely explore the impacts of an opioid addiction on your life and learn skills that can sustain your recovery.

Located in downtown Chattanooga, TN, Time Wellness is a primary mental health center for adults. Our program, which includes day treatment levels of care, and intensive outpatient is designed to assist clients in their journey to understand and achieve through symptom management and the development of new life skills. Our program specializes in assisting adults ages 18 and older in working through symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, schizoaffective, bipolar, dual diagnosis, and trauma related challenges.
