At 'Ai Pono Maui Residential Treatment Center, we offer evidence-based, trauma-informed holistic eating disorder treatment in a peaceful home-like setting with picturesque views of the ocean (just footsteps away), mountains, and lush gardens. Our treatment center was designed to reflect and complement its surroundings - creating a peaceful, relaxing environment that will help women connect to their inner selves while on their journey towards recovery. We also offer a Partial Hospitalization (Day) Program in Maui and a Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program accessible to all residents of Hawaii.

In 2004, we set out to create a new kind of outdoor-based, integrated therapy program for teens and young adults. We specialize in teens battling depression, anxiety, trauma, emotion dysregulation, high-risk/self-harm behaviors, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, ADHD, addiction, suicidal ideation, and other emotional/behavioral issues. Evolve treats teens—and teens only. Our treatment approach emphasizes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, along with other evidence-based modalities such as Seeking Safety, Relapse Prevention, Behavioral Activation, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and 12-Step support programs. Our goal is genuine recovery that lasts long after your child leaves treatment. Evolve’s robust residential program includes individual and family therapy, psychiatry, group therapy, experiential therapies (e.g. equine, art, music, drama, meditation, yoga, etc.) and 24/7 skills-coaching. For out-of-state families, we offer family therapy via HIPAA-compliant video conferencing. We also provide daily academic support to keep teens on track with school.

Evolve Treatment Centers supports adolescents ages 12-17 struggling with mental health, addiction, and/or behavioral issues. Evolve Vanalden is a Comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Residential Treatment Center: the first of its kind in California and one of only a handful in the country. DBT is an evidence-based treatment that has been proven to help reduce emotion dysregulation, self-harming behavior, and/or suicidal ideation. We treat teens diagnosed with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, borderline personality disorder, addiction, or other issues. Evolve's robust clinical program includes individual and family therapy (at least five scheduled 1-hour sessions a week), DBT Skills Training Groups (4 times a week), and skills coaching (24/7). Teens learn and practice the four core skills of DBT: Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. At Evolve, we don't just learn DBT, we live it. With the help of our specialized staff, teens practice and apply their DBT skills at all opportunities throughout the day.

At Evolve Gilroy, we provide the highest caliber of evidence-based residential treatment for adolescents 12-17 struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, ADHD, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, suicidality, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder, Conduct Disorder, and other emotional/behavioral issues. Our primary modes of treatment are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. At Evolve, we believe treatment works best when it is individually tailored. Our clinical staff conducts a comprehensive evaluation of each teen pre- and post-admission in order to develop a customized, highly detailed treatment plan that is constantly updated based on treatment progress. Our robust clinical program includes individual and family therapy; weekly psychiatry; daily academic support; and groups on DBT Skills Training, Anger Management, Relapse Prevention, & Seeking Safety. Teens also participate in experiential therapies (e.g. equine, music, art, fitness, cooking, yoga, and meditation) as well as 12-Step/SMART Recovery programs for those struggling with dual diagnoses.
