Substance Use Counseling and Outpatient Treatment
Tangen Counseling is a dually licensed Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health Treatment Facility that is specialized in helping Clients overcome substance use disorders, mental health, and PTSD/trauma challenges. The scope of our business offerings covers areas such as conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, leading individual or group therapy sessions, running either substance use or mental health intensive outpatient programming and making appropriate clinical treatment referrals as needed for higher levels of care. We offer telehealth and in-person services to adults, couples and families. At Tangen Counseling, our clients’ overall best interest always comes first, and everything we do is guided by our values and professional ethics. We hire professional and certified clinical professionals with various skill sets who are experienced and passionate in helping our clients achieve a full and well-balanced lifestyle and recovery. Tangen Counseling is a client-focused and result driven substance use and mental health treatment organization that provides primary treatment and counseling at an affordable fee. We are dedicated to meet our clients’ expectations as it relates to their recovery and mental health wellbeing. Individualized Treatment
Clients seeking treatment at Tangen Counseling are able to receive a variety of mental health services for symptoms of trauma with or without a co-occurring mental health diagnosis. Services range from a comprehensive evaluation and determination of care needs, case management services, Individual Therapy, outpatient groups (ranging from 2-8 hours per week) and even Intensive Outpatient Treatment for the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (ranging from 9-15 hours per week). Our therapeutic approach to serving our Clients is eclectic and dependent on individual needs. Groups
Outpatient Treatment Groups
We are currently offering a wide variety of outpatient groups including gender specific and trauma informed. All of these groups are currently two hours each and occur on a weekly basis. Depending on the specific group, the treatment duration is anywhere from 15 - 32 weeks and all based on assessment and individual need. Examples include Helping Men Recover, Helping Women Recover, Mindfulness Based Sobriety (a Relapse Prevention Group), etc. Call for further details.

Intensive Outpatient Dual Diagnosis Treatment
Our Intensive Outpatient Program includes 11 hours of therapy a weekly basis (3 - 3 hour group sessions weekly plus weekly individual counseling sessions). Call for further details.
