A Place For First Responders and Veterans
Sworn Refuge is a place for first responders and veterans who are ready to take care of themselves the way they have always taken care of others. We serve law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, dispatchers, corrections officers, active military, and veterans across New Jersey, with care available virtually, in person, or hybrid, including those who can travel to New Jersey.
If you are navigating PTSD, burnout, moral injury, depression, anxiety, substance use, or the way the job bleeds into your relationships and home life, you are in the right place. You will not have to minimize it, justify it, or explain yourself to be truly heard. Our Approach
Sworn Refuge offers a structured yet flexible community program with individual therapy, group therapy, and peer connection with people who get it. Specialty groups include anger management, female first responders, and combat veterans. All treatment is evidence-based, trauma-informed, and delivered by clinicians who are grounded in the culture of service. You Are Not Alone
Taking this step takes real courage, and we do not take that lightly. Whatever you are carrying, you deserve support that truly understands where it comes from. When you are ready, we are here. Reaching out does not mean something is wrong with you. It means you are ready to feel better, and we would be truly honored to help you get there.
