Program Overview
Summit Estate, Northern California's Premier Recovery Center, knows addiction is best treated when clients are comfortable in an inviting space. We understand you and your situation are unique. Based on the principles of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, we have developed a personalized addiction treatment to help our clients through their recovery. We believe that in order to recover successfully, old habits must be replaced with new, healthy ones, and negative thinking patterns must be replaced with positive, reality-based thoughts. Our CBT and DBT-based approaches changes lives by helping our clients replace their old, negative thoughts and behaviors with those that sustain healthy, happy living. In addition, we offer yoga, reflexology, massage therapy, acupuncture, and outdoor recreation. Our goal is to facilitate our client's return to health as we nurture long-term cognitive and emotional well-being. We pay attention to every step of the way from chemical detoxification, one-on-one sessions, group therapies and activities, and catering to specific dietary needs. Summit Estate provides is an informal and luxurious setting designed to invoke a sense of calm. Our unique outpatient program serves clients in the Peninsula, San Jose and Santa Cruz area. We provide a healthy and serene environment to recondition the body, mind, and spirit. Located in Saratoga, CA, it includes individual sessions with counselors, family, group, and couples therapy and, of course, our signature gourmet meals. It has been designed to mirror life outside of rehab. Clients and counselors enjoy gourmet meals prepared with the same care and nutritional considerations as those enjoyed by clients in our residential program. Group sessions can take place in our new group therapy room or in our sumptuous common room, which also serves as a safe and sober place in which clients can relax and socialize. Private counseling sessions are also offered at Saratoga and can be scheduled to meet the needs of people who may be working or have other responsibilities that affect their availability. Saratoga has been created to be an ever-present touchstone to support people on their recovery journey. Our size allows us to operate a step-down treatment model during which residents have an opportunity for extended assessment, evaluation, and individualized case management. The intimate size of our program allows us to create and support specialty treatments and interventions as clients' needs surface. Our physician partners offer medication evaluation and psychiatry services to address co-occuring disorders and long-term health and sobriety. Summit Estate clients are connected with extensive outside community resources to provide case management and ongoing therapeutic services to aid in their continued, long-term success after their transition home. Summit Estate Recovery Center employs the latest in drug and alcohol clinical services, substance abuse counseling, and addiction recovery techniques to help clients with dependency and addiction issues. At Summit Estate, we believe that addiction is a symptom of underlying trauma, behavioral, and/or mental health issues, and we are able to successfully foster long-term addiction recovery by exploring and then treating those underlying issues- whatever they may be.
