St. Joseph offers mental health treatment services for adults struggling with various mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and more.
Detox and Addiction
Drug and alcohol detoxification, commonly referred to as detox, is a process that involves safely and systematically removing substances from an individual’s body while managing the associated withdrawal symptoms. Detoxification is often the first step in the treatment of substance use disorder (SUD) and is designed to help individuals overcome their physical dependence on drugs or alcohol. It’s important to note that detoxification is just the initial phase of treatment and is usually followed by ongoing therapy and support to address the psychological and behavioral aspects of addiction.
