Our DBT Skills group is a 3-hour group that happens once per week. Clients work together through the different skills modules including: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is an evidence based therapy style which focuses on problem solving and acceptance-based strategies to achieve the client’s goals. This style of therapy teaches how to live in the moment, cope with stress in healthy ways, regulate emotions, and improve relationships with others.
