Havenwood Adult Inpatient & Substance Use Programs
Our 24 bed Adult Inpatient Psychiatry unit is staffed with experienced professionals who understand the pain and conflict of dealing with mental and emotional illness. Havenwood at Springbrook Behavioral is recognized as a Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Business. These programs provide comprehensive mental and physical evaluations, medical intervention and medication management, individual and group therapy sessions, skilled nursing observation, and a balance of rest and activity. Havenwood's 8 bed Substance Use Disorders unit is staffed with experienced professionals dealing with substance dependencies. These programs incorporate the 12 step principles and focus on individual, family, and group therapy, recovery management, and medication assisted therapy. The programs are for 18 years and older and are covered by Medicare, Commercial Insurance, TRICARE, VA, and self pay. Havenwood Geriatric Psych Program
Our 12 bed Geriatric Psychiatry unit is staffed with experienced professionals who understand the pain and conflict of dealing with mental illness and dementia. Havenwood at Springbrook Behavioral Health strives to provide geriatric inpatients with unique and customized programming and environment aimed at increasing safety, addressing physical needs and discomforts, increasing diversional activities, and providing diversional activities all designed to decreasing the need for sedative medications. A structured visual schedule is designed to decrease anxiety and address challenging behaviors with planned rest time, age appropriate activities, smooth transitions, physical activities, relaxation activities, and therapeutic group activities all designed for patients with decreased cognitive and functioning skills. The programs are designed for individuals 55 years and older. The programs are covered by Medicare, Commercial Insurance, TRICARE, and self pay. Havenwood at Springbrook is a CMS approved facility and is licensed by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. Havenwood at Springbrook Behavioral Health is accredited through the Joint Commission. Springbrook Residential Autism Programs
Our 68 bed Residential Autism and 18 bed Inpatient Acute-Assessment programs are designed to treat the complex behavioral and psychiatric needs of consumers on the Autism Spectrum. Direction is provided by experienced therapists, psychologist, BCBAs, speech and occupational therapists, RBTs, special education teachers, and psychiatrist. Multiple daily therapy groups utilizing visual components, on issues including communication, social skills, self-regulation, self-image, and coping skills. These programs are designed to decrease the anxiety levels in order to reduce behaviors. The Autism programs are divided into individual programs; lower functioning children program, lower functioning adolescent program, moderate-higher functioning children program, and moderate-higher functioning adolescent program. These programs can accommodate residents between the ages of 5-21 years of age and are covered by Medicaid, Commercial Insurance, TRICARE, and self pay. Springbrook's is a CMS approved facility and is licensed by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.
