Continuum of car and what we offer

Here at SLOW we offer various levels of care. We offer a residential treatment program where clients will learn how to manage their mental health diagnoses and the skills to cultivate long-term mental wellness. Residential treatment is usually the best level of care for individuals leaving a psychiatric hospital or lock-down mental health facility. Our PHP program is for clients coming from another residential mental health program, or someone who may need structured living in addition to day treatment, and/or a client with a degree of willingness and insight to adhere to medications and participate in treatment. PHP clients come to the Dunwoody Center. Group hours are from 9:00 PM- 3:00 PM. Therapeutic living is also available for this level of care. The average length of stay is 4-6 weeks. Our IOP program is the next step-down which offers programing three to five days a week for three hours a day; as a program promoting life skills and over all mental wellness, our clinical IOP hours vary to meet the client’s needs. The average length of stay in IOP is an additional 1 to 2 months.
