Intensive Outpatient for Addiction and Trauma
We focus on providing individualized and tailored programming to our clients by maintaining small and intimate groups that focus first on trauma and addiction as secondary. We believe that using substances is often a person's best attempt to cope with difficult life circumstances. We approach treatment from a non-judgmental perspective to help each person feel connected while gaining an understanding of themselves, and paving a new way. We offer convenient evening group hours so that people can continue to work, go to school or take care of families during the day and still fully engage in treatment. Healing is possible. There is always hope for a strong and lasting recovery. We offer Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) for the treatment of substance use disorders and addiction issues. We aim to support people seeking treatment who may work, go to school, or have family obligations. IOP provides 3 hours a day of clinical treatment a minimum of 3 days per week for those who would benefit from more support for their mental health and/or substance use concerns than a weekly outpatient therapy appointment can provide. Our IOP offers weekly one-on-one therapy sessions, family support, skills, and process groups. The schedule and programs are customized based on each person’s needs and schedule. Our objective is to assist each person in tailoring a program and schedule that supports them in achieving their desired outcomes. The length of stay depends upon the person’s goals, number of attended program days per week, and progress; however, the average length of stay is approximately 6-8 weeks. We believe that addiction is a result of a person's best attempts at coping with trauma or difficult life situations. We know there are so many options to choose from when looking for treatment for addiction. We are a small program, intentionally. This means that every client gets individualized treatment based on their specific needs and every client receives therapy to address underlying trauma.
