About
Empowering Wellness for Teens
The reality is that the adolescent years are a vulnerable time for young adults as they begin to bridge the gap between childhood and adulthood. Adolescents impacted by behavioral health issues think, feel, and act in ways that are confusing to both them and family members. Families may experience breakdowns in communication and functioning, leading both parents and teens to feel hopeless and lost. Now is the time to reach out and talk to someone that understands. It is easier to build strong children than it is to fix broken adults. We are here to help your adolescent with their struggles and build on their strengths to empower them for adulthood.
We Can Help
At SoCal Adolescent Wellness, we will connect the symptoms and experiences your teen is having with recognized diagnostic criteria and proven wellness coaching techniques to develop a unique treatment plan for your teen and family. We will then use evidenced based treatments to help your teen, and your family, find wellness. We offer treatment for adolescents between the ages of 13-18 who are struggling with: Relationship Issues and Co-dependency; Anxiety; Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD); Bipolar Disorder; Depression; Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD) and other Authority Issues; Bullying; Self-Harm; Trauma and PTSD; Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD); Self-Esteem Issues; Entitlement; Anger Management; Social Skill Deficits; Identity Issues; Attachment Issues; and Social Media/Gaming Over-Usage. Our treatment plans include individualized and group therapy with licensed therapists, adolescent psychiatrist visits, family therapy, aftercare, and community resources. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides intensive structure, family involvement, and overall greater support.
Call Us Today
We understand where you are today and are here to help. Here is a recent testimonial from a Father who enrolled his daughter in the IOP program: "The intensive outpatient program they have for adolescents (after school 3 days/week for 3 hours/day) was very good and just what we needed. The program includes family sessions as well, which were some of the most helpful and valuable counseling sessions we have ever had as a divorced family. Our daughter's attitude improved, our communication is better and she just seems happier. There are not a lot of programs like this, so I am happy we were referred to it. It is a small group and the kids get a lot of personal attention and involvement. The therapists specialize in and really "get" adolescents and their particular needs and developmental/behavioral issues. Highly recommend."
