Tucked away on a private, 30-acre campus, our residential treatment program for adult males provides the perfect setting for a transformative recovery experience and a sense of belonging. We offer highly individualized treatment to meet each client’s needs. At the heart of our 25-bed program is a team of licensed and experienced clinical professionals who offer each resident at Silvermist a unique, person-focused plan for recovery from both addiction and mental health disorders. Silvermist’s programs will address the complexities of drug addiction, alcohol addiction, mental health disorders as well as co-occurring disorders. Residential Mental Health Treatment for Males
Silvermist’s primary psychiatric program offers comprehensive mental health treatment to adult males of all ages struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, eating disorders and co-occurring substance use. Our trauma-focused residential treatment program, located on a serene, private campus in southwestern Pennsylvania, focuses on the whole person rather than addressing one specific issue or behavior. By focusing on increasing psychological flexibility, reflection and resilience, clients can achieve symptom reduction, behavior modification, improved functioning and increased overall well-being. With acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), an evidence-based, trauma-focused treatment approach focused on increasing psychological flexibility, clients learn to stop avoiding or denying their inner emotions. Instead, they learn to accept that these deep feelings are appropriate responses to certain situations that do not need to prevent them from moving forward in their lives. With this understanding, clients can begin to accept their struggles and commit to making necessary behavioral changes. Residential Substance Use Treatment for Men
Our treatment approach focuses on understanding each client’s unique needs and providing cutting-edge addiction treatment in order to enhance abilities, recognize harmful attributes and diminish addictive traits and behaviors. With 18 support staff members and a 1:5 clinician-to-client ratio, we give you unparalleled individual attention through a customized treatment plan specifically tailored for you. Silvermist uses a combination of cognitive behavioral and skills-based therapies to help you recognize triggers and how they impact negative behaviors. Family education and engagement is stressed throughout, and medication-assisted therapy is thoughtfully integrated into treatment planning when appropriate to ensure a successful transition back to your life once you leave our treatment center.Family involvement is a vital component of long-lasting recovery. Your family members are encouraged to regularly participate in educational and counseling services at our drug and alcohol rehabilitation center.
