Serenity Springs Recovery Center (Since 2012) is regarded as Florida's best drug & alcohol treatment center for men. Historically, high success rates within the substance abuse industry depend on three important modalities: 1. GENDER SPECIFIC: The opposite sex can be a distraction and tends to inhibit vulnerability in the male population. In a gender-specific setting men are more inclined to shed their armor and get open and honest. 2. DURATION OF STAY: Length of stay is based on an individual's history, presenting problems, and progress in treatment. We don't keep a client a day too long or discharge a day too early. With our continuing care program, clients may remain engaged with our team indefinitely. CENSUS SIZE: Our small, intimate, 20-bed facility creates a sense of community. Serenity Springs is a nationally recognized, licensed, dual-accredited treatment provider for adult men. Our Master's-level clinicians specialize in treating dual-diagnosis, drug & alcohol dependent individuals with addiction and co-occurring mental health issues. Our clients and their loved ones are comfortable knowing that our client to staff ratio is only 2:1! Rehabilitation takes place on our private, 10-acre spiritual sanctuary, which is located in Edgewater, FL. We provide evidence-based counseling, personalized dual-diagnosis treatment, therapeutic analysis, with an intensive, 12-step completion program. Other highlights & services at Serenity Springs include peer support, group accountability, relapse prevention, goal-setting, personal ethics, communication skills, fitness therapy, health & nutrition, meditation, acupuncture, yoga therapy, and individual sessions with a personal trainer. On-site activities include golf driving range, volleyball, full gym, fishing, and kayaking. We also have off-site outings, including weekly surf lessons & beach outings to New Smyrna Beach, movies, bowling, and much more for the guys to refamiliarize their lives without drugs or alcohol.
