Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Treatment
We are proud to serve SW Washington and the Portland Metro area with Functional Mental Health and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for Teens 14-17 and Young Adults 18-26. Our programs are unique and active, and we utilize body-based interventions such as exercise, breathing skills, emotional regulation and somatic therapy to help young people address their mental health and wellness. We combine evidence-based therapy with integrative health services to treat the whole person. We specialize in trauma, burnout with transition into adulthood, neurodivergent care and are LGBTQIA+ affirming and supportive as well as BIPOC and anti-oppression affirming. Our Sensory Affirming approach is unique in that we provide a personalized experience based on the sensory needs of each of our clients, and guiding them, based on their sensory and neurobiological profile on the most effective path to meet their functional goals. Many of our clients want to feel less isolated or understand unwanted outcomes in their relationships, school, work or social environments. We help them to build skills in self management as well as process underlying trauma, grief, stress or conflict that is draining their energy and vitality. Our active treatment helps match intensity of big feelings, while our rest and recovery exercises increase the client’s ability to calm and self soothe. When difficult feelings and situations arise, clients know what skills to ise in order to protect and support their health. Helping to Stabilize Family Routines and Dynamics
With our skills-based approach as well as family systems care, we treat the whole family and can help you re-organize chaotic dynamics that may have arisen out of urgent needs and are now no longer helping your family to thrive.
