About Second Chance Addiction Care

Second Chance Addiction Care is a boutique outpatient addiction center serving Montgomery County, Maryland, and the broader Washington, DC area. We seek to help all patients achieve and maintain healthy lives in our comfortable, safe, and therapeutic environment. Our team has decades of experience in addiction treatment and addiction medicine, including leading government addiction programs. Our professional staff also includes individuals who battled the disease of addiction and now have many years of sobriety. We offer individual and group therapy, and medication to combat addiction, cravings, and related mental disorders.

Philosophy

Our services follow two principles. First, to provide high quality, highly individualized care. This is because a person's care must be tailored to their unique needs and circumstances. We further this goal by holding small group sessions to maximize the therapist-patient relationship. Second, to enhance access to treatment. Second Chance furthers this goal by offering day and evening groups, and thereby giving opportunities to attend treatment around their schedule. We also offer telehealth options, thus permitting patients to receive treatment from the comfort of their homes. We also offer free treatment to veterans, law enforcement, and first-responders if they have no other means of payment.

Second Chance is proud to announce that it is now offering a DUI Program and IOP Program for Spanish speakers. We hope that these additions to our organization will benefit those who are more comfortable speaking Spanish. We are fortunate to have staff who are both experienced in DUI and substance abuse treatment and who are fluent in Spanish and are native Spanish speakers.
