In Person & Telehealth Programs for Your Real Life
Sanford Outpatient Center for Addiction Treatment is conveniently located 12 minutes from Greater Grand Rapids, in Marne, Michigan. We offer substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health treatment to adults 18 or older. Programs are offered in person or via telehealth. The Outpatient Center has flexible, innovative, individualized recovery programs for those with work, child care, school, or other obligations. Outpatient treatment allows for continuing everyday activities while integrating effective strategies to manage recovery. Sanford Outpatient Center is a great place to gather for treatment and community support. A psychiatrist-led multidisciplinary team of medical and clinical professionals backs all our programs. Programs and services include medical and psychiatric assessments, medical detox, day programs (PHP), half-day programs (IOP only 3 hours a day 3 days a week), outpatient groups, medication management & MAT, post-acute detox, alums & family support, and supportive living. Our facility is comfortable and beautiful, with custom furniture, original artwork, a beverage station, the Sanford Café, a discreet entrance, and free parking.
Real-Life Recovery and MAT
Sanford Behavioral Health offers a full continuum of care for SUD, including residential treatment and medical detox. However, we built Sanford Outpatient Center to break down the barriers of traditional addiction treatment. Here we offer flexible recovery programs that work with real life. When entering a Sanford addiction treatment program, each patient is assessed to determine the appropriate level of care. Based on our “recovery for real life” philosophy, we provide a clinically relevant placement for everyone in the least restrictive program. Sanford’s medication-assisted treatment (MAT) combines psychosocial, behavioral therapy, and pharmacotherapy to treat opiate, opioid, and alcohol addiction. We also treat addiction to marijuana, sedatives, stimulants, inhalants, hallucinogens, and synthetic drugs. In addition, our medical, clinical, dietitian, and recreational teams specialize in addiction. Outpatient programs include day programs (PHP), half-day programs (IOP), group therapy, individual and family therapy, MAT, and medical management. In-person and telehealth options are available. We build a community where clients often form healthy and supportive friendships.
Telehealth
Virtual Addiction Treatment, or telehealth, offers the same evidence-based practices that our in-person programs provide, but in the comfort and safety of home. Flexible schedules use video-chat technology and smartphones or computers. Virtual outpatient treatment is real-time with a master’s level clinician as a facilitator. Programs offered are day programs (PHP), half-day programs (IOP), outpatient programs, medication-assisted therapy, eating disorder programs, one-on-one and family counseling, and alums and family support groups. Our Michigan-based telehealth programs are HIPAA-compliant and insurance-eligible. In addition, our easy-to-use programs include online assessments for entrance to any of our virtual addiction treatment programs. Virtual programs are a good way to begin treatment while fulfilling real-life obligations. They are an excellent point from which to step up or down from other available programs at Sanford Behavioral Health.
