Hello there! I am excited to share the news of our new Outpatient Counseling Mental Health, Substance Misuse, and Problem Gambling Treatment Program in Las Vegas. Hope Medical Counseling Center is now open and prepared to serve our communities. Our team of counselors is well-diversified in personal backgrounds and training experience and ready to bring their unique skillsets to our communities. As clinical director, program developer, and clinical supervisor, I am making great efforts to ensure Hope provides quality, comprehensive care. As a person of color, I am mindful of implementing culturally-sensitive services and will continually modify our treatment interventions to help provide the most comfortable healing environment. As a professional counselor with over 20 years of experience, workshop facilitator, state-approved clinical supervisor, as well as a counselor educator in Counseling and Human Services (I still serve in the role as Associate Professor at UNLV), I have a strong reputation in Nevada and strive to implement best practices, thorough training, adherence to ethical standards, and still promote a positive environment for both clients and the clinical team.
