ROAD to a Better Life's Groups
IOP
Many clients succeed in treatment by attending ROAD several days per week. This level of care is 9 hrs weekly. It is appropriate for those who have mild to moderate substance abuse symptoms that require stabilization; those who are experiencing stressful life circumstances; and are those who are struggling to remain abstinent. This program is welcome to people who have had past criminal conduct together with alcohol or drug use problems. We offer a Family and Friends night where clients are encouraged to bring their loved one. They will learn about the disease concept; new ways of relating; coping; and supporting the client.
Therapy Groups (4 different ones offered weekly)
Group therapy is based on the idea that there are great benefits to bringing people together from multiple recovery pathways. These 60 min groups honor all pathways to recovery, acknowledging that each person's path is unique and reflects their personal assets. Groups are an opportunity for social support that focuses on the hope and healing found in recovery and to connect with others who are initiating and maintaining recovery lifestyles. Each week there is a topic covered and open discussion is welcome.
