MH Trauma Residential Extended Care Program
This is a Mental Health Trauma Residential Extended Care Program treating dual diagnosis, trauma/PTSD, borderline personality disorder, addiction and eating disorder issues as well as other mental health issues, with a trauma base. This is a residential extended care program where individuals live and work on their issues with Psychiatrist, therapists and life coaches in therapy sessions. The program runs between three and six months for each person depending upon what they need to recover from and move themselves into successfully. We have a huge variety of programs and the residents will have a few core groups to do together including equine assisted psychotherapy and equine riding therapy, but will individualize their treatment past that point to achieve their goals. The Intensive Outpatient Program is for individuals who are living in safe sober homes during the program. The program will be the same format at the residential extended care program but spread out over more time with a 4 hour a day four day a week format that allows for time at home with children and partners as well as working in some cases. Session time is 80 or more hours a month until the client and staff agree that the client has finished the program (usually between 3 to 6 months.) In order to achieve lifelong sobriety, body image and trauma renegotiation, a person recovering from addiction, especially with a trauma base, must re-connect with the world around them, themselves, family, and friends. As an ongoing part of our counseling work, we utilize holistic lifestyle counseling as well as support networks for you and your families. These counseling sessions are supportive, non-confrontational and taught by our clinical staff. Transitional Living Program
The Transitional Living Program is for the client who has been in the residential program and who lives outside the area, yet wants continued help, including continuing to live onsite and be monitored while doing intensive outpatient or outpatient programs. Or who wishes to do an individual program specialization for mental health issues and live onsite with access to counselors and coaches. We provide a beautiful apartment with a group bedroom and healthy food for meals. Those who utilize this option may also participate in making meals with and eating with clients nightly. This also includes continued UA's and BA's weekly or as counselors feel it is needed, and individual sessions with therapist and life coach up to three times a week as well as vocational counseling as needed. Intensive Outpatient Program includes: 36 Group Sessions 4 days a week for 3 months, Individual Testing, Trauma Renegotiation to eliminate triggers that lead you back into substance abuse situations, Equine Assisted psychotherapy sessions – experiential therapy and practice of new skill sets, DBT used in every group session, CBT used in every group session, Relapse Recovery group sessions, Family group sessions for individuals and their families, Relationship and Healthy Family dynamics group, Snacks provided during group times.
