Immersive Outpatient Group

The immersive outpatient program at Resource Connect is focused on working adults with a history of substance abuse treatment who will benefit from a multi-pronged approach to treatment. Clients will benefit from a combination of trauma informed group, psychotherapy, skills training, relapse prevention counseling, and self-help involvement. Clients will undergo a program that is high intensity, meeting with clinical staff (engaging in individual psychotherapy, a psychiatric and/or addiction medicine assessment, trauma informed care, and relapse prevention).

Multi-Family DBT Skills Group

Multifamily Skills Group is the adaptation of traditional DBT designed for adolescent clients (age 13 – 18) and their families. Clients attend group with a parent or caregiver instead of alone. The design of multifamily skills group is based on the evidence that suggests that teens benefit when families attend group together to learn core DBT skills. In this group, caregivers learn how to effectively communicate with their children, enhance their own coping skills, and empower their child to use DBT skills to deal with problems more effectively.

Outpatient Program (OP) Group

After completing the immersive outpatient program, we encourage patients to continue their recovery in our outpatient program. The goal of the adult outpatient program is to help patients sustain and strengthen their recovery. These are 90-minutes long with a frequency of one to two times per week, and are offered in the evening to help accommodate schedules for working adults. Patients must have approximately two to three months of continuous sobriety to qualify for the outpatient group.
