About

Young Adult, Gender Separate Treatment

Red Oak Recovery® is a clinically-driven trauma focused substance use and mental health treatment programs that offer gender specific care to young adult men (ages 18-30). Our developmentally specific treatment methods consider clients’ unique stories, trauma history, gender challenges, substance use history, relapse triggers, and mental health issues to allow for holistic treatment of the entire person. Our multi-credentialed (clinical addictions and mental health) master’s level clinicians integrate research-based practices with complementary modalities to help clients honor themselves, recognize their self-worth, and pursue positive and lasting change. Red Oak Recovery® also offers recovery management services based on the Gorski-CENAPS model of relapse presentation for clients who have experienced or are about to experience a return to use after ninety days of being in recovery. Our dually licensed clinicians will work alongside a Gorski-trained manager to help clients receive the support they need to get back on track. The team places a significant focus on the thoughts, urges, actions, and feelings.

Young Adult Men: Trauma Focused SA & MH Program

Red Oak Recovery® focuses on the unique needs of young adult men that are impacted and recovering from trauma, substance use, and/or co-occurring disorders. Some of these include, but are not limited to anger, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and social and emotional development. Our young adult men's program helps to begin building the steps to be successful in long-term recovery, become more self-sufficient, identify triggers that can lead to relapse, build healthy relationships, and learn positive coping skills. Our focus in on clinically sophisticated care as the result of blending our extensive experience, current research, and proven clinical modalities. In addition to individual therapy, we incorporate group therapy, psycho-education, adventure and experiential therapy, nutritional counseling, and community and relationship building in our program to develop lasting change on an emotional and spiritual growth. Red Oak Recovery® programs are CARF accredited and are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and First Health.
