About
Day & Evening IOP's - Joint Commission Accredited
The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is the highest level of care available at RSCT and meets (9am to 1pm M-F). The Day Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) (9 - Noon M-Th) and the Evening IOP (6 - 9 pm M-Th) and PHP afford Clients the ability to continue to work and take care of family responsibilities while engaging in more intensive substance abuse treatment. Treatment is tailored to individualized needs and the range of services includes individual and group therapy; alcohol and drug education; relapse prevention; family therapy and ongoing after-care.
Individual Counseling and Group Therapy
Individual counseling is designed to offer the Client an opportunity to process problems and issues on a one-to-one basis. Group Therapy is designed to increase understanding of Alcoholism/Substance Abuse as a disease, to identify the pervasive impact of the illness, and to identify self-defeating behaviors and emotions to learn more effective adaptation, coping and problem-solving skills. Education Group sessions are designed to introduce core information regarding the physiological and psychiatric effects of substance abuse, associated maladaptive behaviors, effects on family and significant others, the recovery/treatment process, continuing care issues, relapse prevention, the Disease Concept of Addiction, the tenets, philosophy and utilization of 12-Step Programs, relationship and communication skills building, etc.
Family Involvement
Family involvement begins the moment a Client considers treatment at RSCT. We will orient family members on what to expect and offer support groups and treatment for the family. Family Group Counseling and Education sessions offer family members the opportunity to gain increased understanding of unhealthy relationship patterns in order to begin the family recovery process. Family members and significant others are provided basic education re Alcoholism/Substance Abuse as a disease and are encouraged to attend AL-ANON and/or their own therapy if indicated. Work/Legal/School Conferences are scheduled as needed and would be an opportunity to facilitate communication between all necessary parties and stakeholders in a Client's recovery.
