RCA has implemented new policies and procedures due to COVID-19 regarding pre-screening, medical clearances and limiting exposure to those who are not RCA staff or patients. Serving patients in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia, Recovery Centers of America Capital Region provides distinguished inpatient and outpatient drug and alcohol addiction treatment. This neighborhood-based treatment center offers a complete continuum of care for patients struggling with addiction to alcohol, heroin, opioids, cocaine and prescription drugs. Our team of doctors, primary therapists, nurses, psychiatrists, and masters-level clinicians provide 24/7 medical supervision and treat each patient as a whole. RCA Capital Region offers general outpatient (GOP) and intensive outpatient (IOP). IOP is generally 3-hour sessions, 3 times a week, and is broken up into individual therapy, group therapy, and psychoeducation. GOP is once-a-week group therapy, though individual therapy may be an option. We treat all aspects of the disease of addiction. Part of that holistic approach includes addressing mental health. With our group counseling, we cover a wide range of relevant topics, including: Brain and body [triggers and cravings] coping skills, health issues, interpersonal skill development, recovery management, and support systems. In addition to addiction treatment for men and women, RCA Capital Region is Our continuum of care includes a structured environment and recovery-focused programs and therapy, an encompassing 12 Step program, spirituality services to regain a sense of purpose, coping skills, and a positive recovery network. RCA at Capital Region offers treatment programs tailored specifically for your particular needs. Balance (men only), is a specialized program treating addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders with dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT)., is a service unique to RCA, enables you to continue fulfilling employment or education responsibilities during your time at our inpatient rehab facility. Through this treatment enhancement service, you are empowered to keep your primary focus on your personal recovery during inpatient treatment, while having the ability to spend three hours a day maintaining virtual work obligations.
