I am a registered Clinical and Counselling Psychologist offering assessment and psychotherapy to adult individuals and couples. I offer treatment for anxiety, depression, stress, relationship problems, childhood and adult traumatic events, anger, loss, grief, low self-esteem/confidence, shyness and life transitions. I am trained in and practice Emotion-Focused Therapy, Somatic Oriented Therapies, Relational Therapy, Relaxation and Meditative practices. I have 25 years of therapy experience, having worked in hospital, university and private practice settings.
Central to my practice is helping you learn skills and tools to feel more grounded, present, relaxed and engaged in your daily life and relationships. If you are a couple, I help you both develop a way out of destructive relationship patterns to foster greater communication, intimacy, trust and understanding.
My approach to people and their experiences is based on active and empathic listening and engagement in the therapy session. I am currently conducting sessions on the phone and via zoom.
