Treatment for Eating Disorders in Virginia
Prosperity Eating Disorders and Wellness is a premier eating disorder treatment center that offers compassion and evidence-based care with a comprehensive and holistic approach to partial hospitalization (PHP) intensive outpatient programming (IOP) and outpatient therapy and nutrition counseling. Our PHP program is 5 days a week from 8-3 pm and our IOP programs are 5-8 pm, three days a week. We currently have openings for outpatient psychiatric services through Katrina Baron, PMHNP.
Mission Statement
Prosperity Eating Disorders and Wellness offers evidence-based, comprehensive and holistic treatment to individuals struggling with eating disorders. Our goal is to help sufferers of eating disorders find a full recovery by meeting their psychological, medical, nutritional, spiritual, emotional and relational needs throughout Virginia. We provide all the needed services to make treating an eating disorder convenient and accessible.
Our Specialities
We specialize in the treatment of Bulimia Nervosa, Anorexia Nervosa, Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified, Binge Eating Disorder and Orthorexia. We use evidence-based, comprehensive, integrated, and holistic approaches. We treat ages 10 to 65 years old and both male and female. We also provide services for families, like our free family support groups on Monday nights and utilize the Maudsley Approach (Family Based Therapy) We also serve children, adolescents, and adults who may not necessarily suffer from eating disorders. Virtual Adult Eating Disorders IOP
This dynamic IOP program is three nights a week from 5-8pm, that includes that each patient will have a strong eating disorder specialist therapist and dietitian on their team, as well as options for family therapy and psychiatry. We have a special tract for clients with binge eaters. We can treat clients from all over Virginia.
