General Description

The PPC is the training center for the Graduate School of Professional Psychology at the University of Denver. The PPC has provided affordable, high quality psychological services to the Denver community for almost 40 years. Staffed by doctoral students under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals, we offer a broad range of confidential mental health care that is innovative, cutting edge, LGBTIQA affirming, and culturally sensitive.

Psychotherapy Services

When you should talk to someone.... You're feeling depressed and anxious and need help managing these feelings. You're having problems coping with or adjusting to life stressors and changes. You're having relationship problems that you need help resolving. You've suffered a loss, and want support and guidance grieving. Your mood fluctuates so much that you can't manage your life adequately. You can't figure out your personal problems and can't turn to your friends for help. Your children are getting into trouble at home and at school. The PPC provides the following types of therapeutic services: Adult Individual Psychotherapy, Child/Adolescent Therapy, Couples Therapy, Family Therapy, and Group Therapy

Psychological Assessment Services

We also offer a variety of assessments. Personality Assessment examines psychological issues or personality questions that people struggle with in their lives. Cognitive Assessment is for problems related to intellectual functioning. Neuropsychological Assessment is helpful when there has been a physical or medical event that affects mental functioning. Forensic Assessment addresses issues that include legal involvement. Therapeutic Assessment is a collaborative approach designed to help you gain new insights and make changes in your life.
