Pinewood Springs is dedicated to the mental health needs of patients across Middle Tennessee. The programs we offer are based on the belief that mental illness is treatable in a supportive, therapeutic environment. Our team of psychiatrists, licensed therapists, registered nurses, and recreation therapists work together to develop an individualized treatment plan for you. Adult Mental Health
The adult mental health program at Pinewood Springs offers inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment. The partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a comprehensive, short-term outpatient program that typically lasts three weeks and provides individualized treatment approaches for behavior health in the form of group therapy and medication management for 5 hours per day, 5 days per week. It provides support and treatment for adults facing emotional or mental difficulties. The purpose of the PHP is to help stabilize, reduce and manage severe behavioral health symptoms connected, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, mood disorders including depression and bipolar disorders. Our daytime and evening Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) allow individuals to receive intensive therapy while continuing to maintain a daily schedule.
