About

Who we are

Since 1975, PEER Services has provided community-based substance abuse prevention and treatment services to the residents of Evanston, Northfield, New Trier, Maine and Niles Townships, and the north side of Chicago. Our mission is to prevent and treat the problems that substance abuse causes individuals, families and our communities. We are dedicated to our community and committed to providing high-quality, affordable treatment and services to all in need.

How we can help

If you or a loved one is suffering from substance use, we are here to listen, provide support, and discuss options to address the issues. We can work together to help reduce use, build coping skills to address stress and challenging situations, create a recovery support plan, and manage cravings. Our services include substance abuse treatment, specialized treatment for heroin and other opioid dependence, intensive outpatient programs, DUI education, early intervention, and services for families in crisis. We also provide prevention consultation to the community and drug testing.
