About
Heroin & Opioid Addiction Treatment
We help individuals and communities recover from the effects of opioid addiction. Peace Club was started out of necessity. Too many of our friends and neighbors have died from opioid-related deaths or find themselves stuck in a cycle of dependency. Our goal is to take the best from the addiction industry and add the pieces we believe are missing: quality over convenience, innovation over conventions, and people over profits.
Treatment Approach
Trauma Informed: overwhelming experiences can shape the way we relate to the world, ourselves, and others. We believe treating trauma with evidence-based approaches can bring healing. Mindfulness Based: We use Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention as a foundational model for achieving sobriety and maintaining the recovery process. Biologically Anchored: We embrace the evidence that addiction and mental health disorders can hijack people's neurobiological systems. The brain and body must heal together. This happens through sobriety, nutrition, medicine, and a multitude of wellness approaches. Dual Diagnosis: Rarely is addiction not driven or complicated by mental health disorders. Alongside Opioids, we specialize in the treatment of Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, and other co-occurring chemical and behavioral addictions. Experientially Focused: Quests, pilgrimages, and missions have been used to transform people for thousands of years...why stop now? Community Centered: bottom line, healing and transformation happens in the context of supportive relationships. It's no surprise that boredom and loneliness goes hand-in-hand with addiction (and American culture).
How Peace Club Stands Apart
We are one of the only Opioid Exclusive Dual Diagnosis Treatment Programs in America. Transformational Experiences are key to Peace Club's approach. Local Freedive Retreats, Central America Pilgrimages, Surfing, Yoga, and Meditation are methods used to create change. We believe beautiful spaces are important. They not only make us feel good, but bring a sense of peace and dignity to the treatment experience. The spaces we spend our time in impact how we feel and experience our world. We build spaces where you can rest and be inspired.
