Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
At PathLight, we specialize in outpatient programming for Addictive Disorders. Our 4 month American Society of Addiction Medicine level 2.1 Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) includes both group and individual counseling. Each patient will collaborate with their educated, trained and credentialed counselor to develop an individualized treatment plan designed to address health biologically, psychologically, socially and spiritually. Each patient will be guided to identify underlying causes of addiction to help build a new life; sober and free. We offer both clinical and Christian focused programs and a program that integrates both clinical and Christian principles. Each patient will choose which program is best for them. Many of our patients have completed a residential program, although this is not necessary for acceptance into IOP. Many of our patients are professionals with a family and a full time job. The IOP program scheduling is designed to work around patients' work schedules. Our approach is totally non-judgmental and forward looking. This is not a 12-step program. PathLight is proud to use a unique approach to help patients discovery a new life. Positive Psychology (PP) is much different than many of the other Psychological theories used to treat addiction. What makes PP different is that it is much more forward looking. Instead of constantly focusing on improving weaknesses, Positive Psychology is all about focusing a person's strengths and setting future goals. Goal setting is divided into 4 categories: Biological, Psychological, Social and Spiritual Goals. We truly believe life on the other side of brokenness can be significantly more fulfilling.
