TriStar Centennial Parthenon Pavilion
TriStar Centennial Parthenon Pavilion – the oldest and largest behavioral health hospital in Middle Tennessee – is committed to providing easy access to superior quality mental health services for adults (age 18 and older) in acute psychiatric crisis. As the only behavioral health hospital in the state connected to a tertiary medical center, TriStar Centennial Parthenon Pavilion is able to provide a full continuum of mental health and medical services, with assessment and referral services provided by the TriStar Behavioral Health Call Center.
We work with Adults, and Seniors
Individualized recovery plans are developed for each patient by the team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, counselors, social workers, utilization reviewers, psychologists, and certified recreation, art, and music therapists. The recovery team works to educate both patients and their families about the symptoms of their illness, factors which led to hospitalization, and the aftercare needed to prevent relapse. Discharge planning begins upon admission, with a thorough evaluation of the patient’s needs, available resources and assessment of any possible barriers to maintaining stability. Discharge planning not only involves follow up treatment needs, but also housing needs, including supervised settings such as group homes, assisted living, long term care, or skilled nursing facilities. All programs are based on the belief that mental illness is treatable in a supportive, therapeutic environment. The Outpatient Services provide a Partial Hospitalization Program and Two Intensive Outpatient Programs (Afternoon and Evening). Individuals will learn coping skills in a therapeutic environment using a holistic approach combined with Music, Art, and Recreation Therapy.
Mental Health Programs- Inpatient and Outpatient
A mental health condition can affect many different facets of your life. However, at TriStar Centennial Parthenon Pavilion, we are here to help you get better. We offer several different treatment tracks to help you heal and learn the tools and skills to face life's difficult situations. Our adult treatment program (ATP) provides crisis stabilization and intensive treatment for both voluntary and involuntary patients 18 years old and older. This behavioral health treatment equips patients with the tools needed to maintain safety and stability in the hospital and after discharge. We also assist with setting up appropriate outpatient care to continue the recovery process beyond hospitalization. We use treatments grounded in researched theories and evidenced-based techniques to improve mental health symptoms. Our group therapy sessions are structured with a mix of psychoeducational, process-oriented, expressive and role-play formats. Call or Email
